Alison is an illustrator based in the heart of Southsea. She originally trained as a textile designer at West Surrey College of Art and Design, but her first steps in to the world of illustration was as a greeting card designer. She has applied her creativity and passion for all things crafty to a variety of different ventures. She has illustrated children’s books, consumer magazines, printed textiles, and, what she is most well-known for now, fine bone china.
Her most popular range, the National Trust collection, has stemmed from working closely with many companies and charities such as the BBC, The Royal Collection, World Wildlife Foundation, RSPCA, RSPB, Second Nature, Elgin Court and Dunoon Ceramics. With these collaborations, she has been able to focus on one of her favourite interests which is designing heritage buildings and landscapes. Now, she concentrates on illustrating and creating products which are of the highest standard and ensures there is something for everyone, both as gifts for loved ones and for yourself.
