About Uppark House

Location: Petersfield, West Sussex Built: ~ 1690 Uppark House is a beautiful country house situated on the South Downs that was built for Ford Grey. It was rescued after a major fire caused by a workman's blowtorch in 1989, but still remains to be a simple but satisfying red brick house with prominent stone dressings- a style derived from the Netherlands around when it was built.

This mug is part of the National Trust collection.
