Lying in the Bollin Valley, Cheshire remains one of Britain's best industrial heritage sites, giving us a great example about how a complete industrial community lived. Built by Samuel Greg as a water-powered textile mill to spin cotton it became the largest such business in Britain in its day. The mill is still in operation, producing 10,000 metres of woven cotton per year.

This mug is part of the National Trust Collection.
