About Alison

Alison is a Southsea-based designer and illustrator who is most well-known for her Christmas and heritage collections. Her range varies from traditional advent calendars to fine bone china mugs. Alison Gardiner Designs support British Manufacturing as much as possible, so the majority of our products are made in the UK. 

Over the years Alison has been working closely with many companies and charities such as The King’s Foundation, The Royal Collection, Shakespeare’s Birthplace, Blenheim Palace, The National Trust, World Wildlife Foundation, RSPCA including cathedrals and other heritage institutions.  

With these collaborations, she has been able to focus on one of her favourite interests which is illustrating heritage buildings and landscapes and from these designing and creating products.

That’s why our mugs are created up in Stoke-on-Trent using traditional methods by highly skilled crafters with very exacting standards, so you can be assured your cup of tea will be perfect every time- something we are all striving for!
