Box Hill Mug

Named after the ancient Box woodland, Box Hill has been long famous as a destination for day trippers from London. Jane Austen had relatives nearby in Great Bookham and set a scene from her book 'Emma' at the site. "They had a very fine day for Box Hill... Nothing was wanting but to be happy when they got there.
